LEGAL REVIEW DRAFT
Cookies and tracking preferences.
Prepared on 10 October 2026. This draft explains the site's intended storage and optional tracking controls. The final provider inventory and legal review remain owner responsibilities.
1. Your optional tracking choice
Optional analytics and advertising integrations are disabled by default unless the owner configures them. Configured optional tracking is loaded only after the relevant permission is given. You can accept or decline using the controls below. Enquiry submission does not depend on accepting optional tracking.
2. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are one form of browser storage. When optional tracking is configured and you make a choice, this implementation records “accepted” or “rejected” in first-party local storage under “nexcog-consent-v1”. This preference is not an enquiry record or a marketing profile, and the implementation sets no expiry for it.
That preference remains in this browser until you change it or clear the site's storage. Clearing it may cause the site to ask again. The owner must separately publish the actual storage names and durations used by any connected hosting, security, analytics, or advertising provider after verifying the deployment.
3. Optional analytics and advertising
The code prepares optional configuration for Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and LinkedIn tracking. A prepared integration does not mean that a live account is connected. If activated and permitted, tracking may record page views and selected business events such as consultation clicks or accepted form submissions.
Form contents, business challenges, names, and email addresses must not be sent in website analytics events. The owner must review any tag-manager container and downstream tags, including their storage, recipients, purposes, and durations, before activation. New providers or purposes require an updated inventory and consent review.
4. Hosting, security, and form protection
Hosting and configured security services may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. When enabled for enquiry protection, Cloudflare Turnstile interacts with the browser and its verification service. These security functions are separate from optional marketing measurement.
The actual deployment must be inspected for provider cookies, browser storage, and network requests. This draft does not assume that every security technology is exempt from a consent requirement; the owner and legal reviewer must assess its purpose and the rules that apply to the audience.
5. Campaign parameters and enquiries
Recognized campaign parameters in the current URL may accompany an enquiry to help identify its source. The form does not require a marketing cookie to read that current-page context. Campaign attribution is not a reason to add names, emails, or other personal identifiers to tracking URLs.
See the privacy notice draft for the enquiry-processing purpose and outstanding retention and provider decisions.
6. Changing your choice
Return to this page to change the site's optional tracking preference. Withdrawal governs future loading and event collection under that preference; it does not automatically remove data already sent to a provider or every third-party cookie already set. You can additionally clear browser storage using your browser's controls.
A verified privacy contact and provider-specific information must be supplied before launch. The owner must review this page whenever tracking, storage, or the site's operating configuration changes. The preparation date is not an assertion of legal approval.
